I Woke Up In The Middle Of The Night With

I woke up in the middle of the night with extreme gas pain. When I went to the restroom the pain was so bad it made me double over with my head between my legs, break out in a sweat and become nautious and nearly pass out. I was able to pass a few small stools which turned to diarrhea. This morning I felt like I had diarrhea, but all that came out was a bloody excretion. I have been passing this bloody excretion all day and nothing more. Should I be concerned?
