I Woke Up This Morning With A Throbbing Pain In

I woke up this morning with a throbbing pain in my ear it lasted all day and pain killers seemed to do nothing but now I have gone to bed and it's popping and crackling and draining pinkish fluid everywhere should I let it do this?? and how long could this pain last ??
