I Woke Up This Morning With Mucus In My Throat

I woke up this morning with mucus in my throat and found it difficult to swallow. Please note I was lying on my back at this point... Throughout the day, I've been feeling tightness and finding it difficult to swallow. Please help as I feel so uneasy.
