I Woke Up With A Bad Cough Which Led To

I woke up with a bad cough which led to vomitting then suddenly, my head felt like it was exploding and my neck got stiff aswell as started hurting. Ive had 4 major back surgery's, and the pain level was equal to worst than right after surgery. Should i go to the er? If not could you explain what happend.
