I Woke Up Yesterday With Bad Pain In My Left

I woke up yesterday with bad pain in my left wrist. I did not fall or do anything to bring this on. I don't have tingling or numbness, just pain with movement. I cannot get in to the doctor until Friday. Could it be arthritis? I put on a brace. Any other suggestions? Thank you.
