I Work In A Cigar Bar/restaurant And There Has Been

I work in a cigar bar/restaurant and there has been mold growing on the walls for a couple years now. Problem was supposedly fixed and returned. In March I was diagnosed with diverticulitis... Long story had to have a colostomy and just have the reversal 2 weeks ago. But back in March my co-worker who is 10 years younger than me also had issues and was hospitalized because of her colon. Antibiotics cleared hers up over time. We are the main people to work in that room, could the mold have caused our issues?
