I Work Out 3-4 Days A Week And I Lift

I work out 3-4 days a week and I lift weights and do cardio training, I have perfect blood pressure 120/80
however my LDL is 176 and HDL is 42 total cholesterol is 245, I will go on cholesterol medicine if I have to but I am concerned about the side effect from cholesterol drugs, and I also heard these drugs can make your joints soar and I want to continue weight training at my gym !! I don't smoke I am 49yrs old, I eat healthy too
