I Work With Female Inmates On A Volunteer Basis Every

I work with female inmates on a volunteer basis every Sunday. Last Sunday I was exposed to strep throat by an inmate. My husband has a very precarious health situation (40 - 50% lung capacity from radiation, bad heart valves also from radiation). He is 71, I am 70. I have faithfully rinsed my sinuses and gargled twice a day since Sunday. My nose is a bit more stuffy and active (could be change of seasons?). Does it sound as if I am fighting it successfully, and does it sound like I might be contagious? No fever, and the throat seems pretty OK.
