I Work With Special Needs Children. I Was Walking Down

I work with special needs children. I was walking down the hall with a child with a club foot. The hall was unusually congested and she wrapped her club foot around my foot. I fell with her and twisted my back and don't even know how we fell. Since then I was on Workman' Comp. In late July they did an assessment and said the only thing wrong was that instead of lifting 50 lbs. I could only life 30 the rest of my life. My job requires lifting 50 lbs. We were able to negotate so I could work with a blind child and "be his eyes". In the meantime my back is feeling worse. I cant hold my grandchild or clean my house along with other things. Will this be like this the rest of my life? I love the beach, going horseback riding and playing with all my grandchildren. I feel locked in my body and have to ask people to load and unload the groceries. Please help
