I Worry That My Border Collie's Lower Front Teeth Are

I worry that my border collie's lower front teeth are going to wear down to nothing from chewing so much on his bones. He is one year old and deaf. He is not left alone that much and is in the company of one other dog and three cats. once teeth wear down they don't grow back. is that correct?
