I Would Like Information For New Procedures In Nerve Pain

I would like information for new procedures in nerve pain from shingles. I have had the 2 shots in the spinal area and trigger points and nothing has helped. I have endured this for 8 years and it seems to be getting worse. Right side from spine around under arm and breast. My family doctor suggested burning the nerve. Is this possible?
