I Would Like To Know Early Signs Of Possible Diabetic

I would like to know early signs of possible diabetic disorders. My family history has diabetes on my mother's side, herself included. I am a 32 ye old female that has been healthy and active until the last two years. I have little energy now, have gained weight and I crave sugar over the health snacks I use to consume. Could this be early onset of the disease?
