IWAS DIAGNOSED WITH ACHILLES TENDONITIS, WORE THE BOOT FOR 1

IWAS DIAGNOSED WITH ACHILLES TENDONITIS, WORE THE BOOT FOR 1 WEEK. I CALLED DR AND TOLD HIM I CANT WEAR THIS BOOT. IT is killing my opposite knee from the way i have to walk. THE NURSE SAID THE DR WANTS YOU TO KEEP IT ON. I HAD TO LEAVE WORK TODAY BECAUSE MY KNEE WAS HURTING ALOT. SO i took off the boot. SO far my achilles is ok and knee is better after some ice and ibuprofen. So should i see how it goes or do you think i will hurt achilles again? What should i do? IT was supposed to be on for 4 wks, but my foot and knee are going to need drs care if i keep it up.
