Iam 16 Weeks Pregnant, Had Spotting Very Little During My

Iam 16 weeks pregnant, had spotting very little during my 13th week of pregnancy only 3times in 3 days .however doctor gave me injection Gestone for 4days.now during my sonography I got to know I have low line placenta anterior left lateral low lying reaching up to the internal os. Please explain
1.what it means?
2. Is it harmful to my baby?
3. Will I have safe pregnancy?
4.remedies to it if any ?
