If I Didn't Start My Birth Control Pill On The

If I didn't start my birth control pill on the Sunday after my period will this effect my cycle? I started the pill when my period ended but it was not on Sunday. I have taken 4 pills now. I have done research but wasn't satisfied with the answer as they weren't clear. Just looking for a clear answer if I should stop and wait until next month or if I'm ok to continue on.
