If I Have Genital Warts, Which I Was Told My

If I have genital warts, which I was told my kind can't be spread orally which is good, and my body fights it off after a few years like I heard it can... Will I no longer be contagious to other partners...? Has there been any cases where this happens and the virus goes away...? And as a male 41 year old, should I still go and request the vaccine..?
