If I Have Just Literally Squashed A Mozzie And Its

If I have just literally squashed a mozzie and its full of blood and that blood is contaminated by Hep C... And I don't realised I have that blood on my fingers etc. and I inject and contaminate myself or another... Can I/they contract Hep C? To me this seems a perfectly legitimate way of thinking... blood to blood. Or if I have a sore/cut etc... I could... clinically infect myself... am I correct?
