If I Told You My Tale Of Woe, You'd Cry.

If I told you my tale of woe, you'd cry. Hurt my back when I was 13, harrowing the Back 40; pulled the harrow out of the fence myself; couldn't get off the tractor when I got home - went to bed for a week (no doc) and have had back pain on and off since. Sat at a desk for 35 years (legal secretary); fell down a flight of stairs 20 years ago and broke several bones and compressed disks in my neck and back. Have seen several doctors since we retired to SW FL 13 years ago - they listen, shake their heads, say "RA"? and write a bunch of prescriptions, including morphine, none of which has given me any relief. BTW, an MRI about 10 years ago showed I had broken my back at some point! Any ideas? My friends say "stay active," bit that's pretty hard when everything hurts and all your energy is spent trying to deal with that. My hands are the worst - having trouble writing because I can't bend my fingers to hold a pen. Sigh. Any ideas?
