If A Woman Has A Wart Removed From The Groin

If a woman has a wart removed from the groin area and the dermatologist says it was caused by HPV but the woman's Pap smear was negative for HPV the prior month, does she have HPV? If she does have HPV, can she pass it to a sexual partner when the wart is removed?
