If My Blood Pressure Was 229/101 For A Couple Weeks

If my blood pressure was 229/101 for a couple weeks then changed medicines to reduce but caused it to drop too low to fast 99/83. My pulse rate always between 69 and 80. Ended up in hospital for a day on heart monitor bc I was dizzy feeling faint said it was due To reaction of new medicine so dr changed it sent me home with more time off from work. My new medicine is working but I noticed my pulse rate generates between 97 and 102. Should I be alarmed
