If Someone Had A Stroke And Dr Plan Is Control

If someone had a stroke and dr plan is control blood pressure, Trach after vent is taken off, feeding tube in stomach and next week take out tube in head and put in shunt,,,,how do I know if this is a plan to regain normal life or just keep person alive with machines?
