If U Have An Abscessed Cist Or Boil.that Should Have

If u have an abscessed cist or boil.that should have been lanced and it broke open by itself and started to pus out beige pus and it shrank a little in size but is still a boil is it necessary to go to hospital or should i just let it drain on its own till it shrinks. Im concerned about infection going into my bloodstream should i be concerned with that or is that not an issue im thinking i need antiobiotics from the hospital to stop any infection or is there something else i can do or take rather than go to hospital for the possible infection pls help
