Ihave Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. Protatechtomy Followed By 3 Lymph

Ihave stage 4 prostate cancer. Protatechtomy followed by 3 lymph node and one pelvis lesion hopefully successfully treated with radiation. Gleason 9. After 3 one month injections of firmagon I was switched to a one month injection of Lupron. Side effects from Lupron are much more extreme than Firmagon. Dr. wants to do 6 months of Lupron next but I am considering refusing altogether or only doing another 1 month to see if side effects diminish. It basically comes down to a quality of life issue. I am 69 years old and otherwise in good health, have felt good through surgery, radiation and Firmagon but have felt horrible since Lupron.
