I'm 15 And Have Hyperthyroidism. I Was Healthy All My

I'm 15 and have hyperthyroidism. I was healthy all my life and now everything is going down hill. I have a rapid heartbeat and they put me on propylthiouracil because I had an allergic reaction to methamizole (or however it's spelled). Apparently it's not too high, but I still have to consider medication for life, radioactive iodine, or a thyroidectomy. I really want to try to see if it will heal by itself since it's not that bad, but these medications are killing me. I really don't want to destroy my thyroid and be put on more medication for hypo. I just feel doomed for life. What's the point of destroying it if you're gonna be on meds either way? I'm only 15 and this is worrying me.
