Im 21 Weeks Pregnant, Is It Safe To Take Collagen

Im 21 weeks pregnant, is it safe to take collagen supplement (type 1&3 pill form) in addition to my prenatal? I have normal pregnancy, there was a slight concern with a thickening of the bowel but all my testing came back fine so nothing is wrong. Everything else is perfect.
