I'm 22 Years Old And Have Been Getting Unbearable Period

I'm 22 years old and have been getting unbearable period pains for as long as I can remember. I started them at a very young age, and they typically last a whole week with spotting sometimes carrying over to the next one. I was on birth control from 14-18 and it did nothing except shorten the time I had it. After I stopped birth control my doctor pre-scribed me naproxen. Which even taking twice the dosage doesn't help me at all... Along with all the over the counter medicines which even if id triple not only do they not really work to relieve my cramps but they wear off in about an hour. I'm not sure what to do anymore. The first two- to three days of my period every month, I'm stuck in the bath room. I also spend the whole 2-3 days throwing up because of how bad the cramps are- therefore I can't really eat or drink anything. It is truly unbearable, and besides the pain I miss atleast 3 days of work a month due to something I can't control. I have currently been a stuck in my bathroom for 3 hours throwing up nothing but stomach acid, please give me some kind of advice
