I'm 30 Years Old Had Irregular Spotting Since Past Three

I'm 30 years old had irregular spotting since past three months. Earlier i was diagnosed with hypothyroid , PCOD now i didnt have both. My gyno has dignosed my uterus thickening 0f 19mm, with a polyp of 10 x 9 mm .She has given me dosage for 5 days and suggested D & C after a scan . I am scared of cancer .kindly give me your advise
