Im 33years Old And Type - II Diabetic For Last

Im 33years old and type - II diabetic for last 9years. I had developed a smegma before 2years back and got them cured by applying some anti-fungal ointments. After 2years, I had recently developed smegma. Im reasonably active. Should I worry about my sugar level? Does that elevate Smegma creation?
