I'm 41 And Had A Polyp 2 Removed In August.

I'm 41 and had a polyp 2 removed in August. Had hysterestocopy. Three months later I'm bleeding heavily with chlotes. I been under stress. Dr out of town. No fever. Is it a hormonal balance? Or residuos from surgery? Ovulation? My period came back after a month of surgery normal. Nov 28 I had it. Dec 5 the finished. Dec 16 started the bleeding. I'm so worried. Went to Dr today and ordered thyroid test. Why? I did not talked to Dr. Just got the form. My period is light red and flooding. Please guide me. Thx.
