Im 42 Years Old And Want To Concieve Have Been

Im 42 years old and want to concieve have been trying for 4 months since i took the coil out but i have noticed my periods have only lasted two days is there a problem ? I have been prescribed ferrous sulphate as my iron levels were low but every time i take them i feel sick so i stop taking them can you please advise me what i should do thank you
