I'm 47yrs Old And Been Having Some Abnormal Bleeding (menstruation)

I'm 47yrs old and been having some abnormal bleeding (menstruation) week 1 spotting, week 2 regular monthly period, week 3 bleeding with urination nothing on pad. I have been working out at gym doing sit ups and elliptical machine. Yesterday had a headache to right temple still seen to be slightly there today. only meds are for hypertension and cholesterol. again bleeding is from bright red to dark red I don't know what going on can you help
