I'm 54 And I Am Body Temperature Has Been Volatile

I'm 54 and I am body temperature has been volatile lately, (thinking menopause). I understand what hot flashes is. This is more like running a low grade fever. Usually starts around 6-7 pm feeling like a headache, soar neck, sensitive skin. Sure enough, I was running a fever of 99.9. I took Advil and it broke. I slept in a little today and took it a little easy. I felt fine. Now it seems to be starting again. My normal temp. usually around 96.5 to 97.8. Once I get past 97.8 my skin starts to feel sensitive and headache and eye start to burn. No other symptoms. That is why I confused. I don't feel like I have a cold or a bug. Once I took the Advil and my temp. went down My temp read 95.4. This happened to my in Dec. but only lasted 1 day. It seems to start at night and breaks by morning. Any ideas?
