I'm 54yrs old and I just did pelvic ultrasound. The results indicate my uterus is bulky at 7.2×4.8×5.7cm and shape is anteverted. There are fibroid 2.7×2.6×2.4cm anterior submucosal and 1.2×1.3×1.2cm anterior submucosal On the prior exam, 3.5cm anterior wall and 2.1cm posterior intramural fibroid were seen. The uterus measures at 7.9cm in largest dimensions on prior exam. Endometrial complex is 0.8cm in size. The cervix is normal, no evidence ot cervical abnormalities. Cul-de-sac, no evidence of free fluid. My right ovary is 4.3×4.1×3.5cm enlarged in size, normal tissue echopattern. A complex 3.9×3.7×3.2cm separate cyst is seen. Right adnexa is normal. My left ovary is 2.5×2.1×1.6cm is normal in size. Normal tissue echo pattern is simple appearing1.4×1.0×1.1cm cyst is seen. Left adnexa is normal. Please I need know, I'm desperate to know, I have fear of surgery. Can explain to me what's going inside of me!....
