I'm 63 Years Young And For About The Last 9

I'm 63 years young and for about the last 9 months when I use toilet paper my clitoris hurts for a couple of minutes. At first it was for a prolonged period and made me feel like I had a UTI, needing to void often. The feeling has gotten better over time, however, the ongoing result each time I urinate has me concerned that it's related to getting older. Is this normal?
