I'm 64 Yrs Old And Didn't Have A Period For

I'm 64 yrs old and didn't have a period for 2 years. Recently I've had some bleeding and spotting. My gyn checked my hormones twice and told me I am not in menopause. I do have fibroids, one of which is blocking my cervix which makes it impossible to have a Pap smear to check for cancer. I'm also on a blood thinner making surgery a risk. I don't know what to. I'd rather not have surgery as the fibroids are not causing me any problems other than the blocking of my cervix. What do you suggest?
