Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm 71 years old and have severe leg cramps at night. I have a heart condition and copd. I'm not on oxygen, I do take a statin drug . I told my cardiologist and he said if the cramps were caused by the statin they would be in my upper legs, thighs. The cramps are in my calf muscles and my feet. I think my cardiologist just likes to be right he's got an ego.
