I'm 71 Years Young. I Had Back Surgery Too Late

I'm 71 years young. I had back surgery too late for Severe spinal stenosis, 4 degenerative disc, 3 herniated disc. My surgeon had to cut into the nerves to move the bone spurs. He told me my nerves would regenerate in a year. Well it has been three years and very little regeneration in my feet. I may not really know because there is extreme stiffness in my feet, going to my knees. I would like to know how I can get rid of the stiffness?
