I'm A 23 Year Old Male And My Belly Button

I'm a 23 year old male and my belly button sometimes hurts and is bleeding sometimes. At least I think it's blood? It's red? Also like when I clean it out it honestly looks like grass but It's probably hair? I have no hair on my belly button because I shaved it off to see if that would cure the problem but it just keeps coming back I'm not sure what it is? Do you?
