I'm a 48yr Female who recently had bloodwork done I'm guessing July during my visit to my Primary Dr in August one of his interns saw me 1st and found out that I had High Cholesterol but I was caught off guard because I was there for f\u & then the Dr came in & I was talking to him @ other issues the intern told Dr he some put me on Lovastatin 20mg along with my other meds went to pharmacy and then home started taking them as directed which was dated 8\7 My question is I Never Received My Cholesterol Number & Never New about it until I talked to my Mother today! She said that her # is 214 & My Sister (4yr younger)Her # is 210 & neither are on Medicine Mom said it runs in the Family especially Women So Now I'm Freaking Out & Need to see the Dr & 1.Findout Why I Didn't Get the #'s 2.Why I Wasn't Told How To Control It 3. I Been Reading Up All About Cholesterol on Google & it's Scaring The H#ll Out of Me......So I'm Wondering if You Are able to Answer Any of this For Me?? Thank U
