I'm A 53 Year Old Male 5'9" About 170 Lbs.

I'm a 53 year old male 5'9" about 170 lbs. I have COPD and asthma. When I woke up today my chest was so tight it hurt to breathe. Heart was and is racing, as well. Chest is a little better now, but definitely not good. I believe it bronchitis as I've had that before and I don't believe my doctor gave me anything for it. Should I just ride this out?
