I'm A 60 Year Old Diabetic Woman Who Is Suffering

I'm a 60 year old diabetic woman who is suffering from hot flashes and depression. My nurse/practicioner is recommending Brisdelle, but say I would have to stop taking pills for depression. Are there any other combinations that I could safely take for my two different problems?
