I'm A 67yr Old Female Who Had My Gallbladder Removed

I'm a 67yr old female who had my gallbladder removed 5days ago. I could not void at all in the first 32hours post-op , so needed to be cathiterized every 4-6hours. By time of discharge 36hrs post-op, I was able to void some, but never empty my bladder. Each of the 4 days since I arrived back home has been progressively worsened my ability to begin voiding & the rate of the stream of urine. Can you recommend any remedies that will help me empty my bladder?
