I'm A 70 Year Old Woman. I Have Had Bronchitis

I'm a 70 year old woman. I have had bronchitis doctors think so anyway for over three weeks. My worst symptoms are no longer the cough, but severe weakness and heart palpitations that last up to an hour simply from walking to the kitchen or going to the store for a few minutes. I am extremely weak, in fact I think I'm weaker now than I was a week or two ago. Even raising my arm or walking to the toilet is exhausting and causes heart palpitations. I went to urgent care three times and went to a regular g.p. most recently. Their answers: humidifier (purchased and is running); an inhaler since I often feel I can't get a breath (also purchased); rest (no choice). I've had chronic fatigue syndrome - begun in 1988 when I couldn't work for several years, but eventually was able to move it to back burner most of the time. I don't know if this bronchitis is triggering the CFIDS so I'm getting multiple problems at once. I'm beginning to lose hope that this will go away. What now? Thanks, Barbara DiAdamo
