I'm A 70 Yr Old Female ...in Good Shape, Not

I'm a 70 yr old female ...in good shape, not overweight but have osteoarthritis . I have a prescription for Pregabalin 25 mg. it was prescripted by G.P. In June /15 for back pain. As I m up at my cottage, I have been taking some Aleve gel ( not as hard on my stomach) for arthritis, but it doesn't seem to do much. Should I start taking Pregabalin ? Some of the warnings are pretty scary.
