I'm A Healthy 72 Year Old Female. For The Last

I'm a healthy 72 year old female. For the last few months, my left arm between elbow and shoulder gets extremely cold to the point of it being painful. Saw an orthopedist last week who said he couldn't find anything and that cold is not a sympton of anything. Just wondering if it's an age thing although I am a very young 72.
