I'm a heterosexual woman who had unprotected sex with a heterosexual male for has Herpes. He did not have an outbreak at the time.
I'm familiar with Herpes.
It's been 5 days and I have no symptoms. I know that I can have an outbreak up to 6 weeks later but does the fact that I haven't had one yet mean that I am less likely to catch the illness?
