I'm A Male Age 64. I'm Pretty Active - Either

I'm a male age 64. I'm pretty active - either work out , walk or play pickleball every day. I often have a cramp in my left thigh. It usually occurs when I stretch my leg out and grab my toes with my left hand while seated on the floor.
So, my question is, why am I cramping. It seems to have coincided with beginning to take a statin drug last year which was changed once already to one that is not supposed to cause muscle cramps.
Thanks
