I'm A Paramedic For 20 Years. Some Post Nasal Drip

I'm a paramedic for 20 years. Some post nasal drip and kinda gag/cough it up hard. Now on the left side by crico membrane is overly painful - sealing is painful - palpating is painful - runs about 1-2 inches. Really a true 7-8 on pain scale on coughing bit worse on swallowing. Thoughts?
