I'm a truck driver with type 2 diabetes. I'm wondering if I can take over the counter Pepto bismol in chewable tablet form? I'm currently taking 1000 mg metformin, .05 mg levothyroxine for my thyroid, and 5 mg of Lisinopril for high blood pressure. I've been struggling with diarrhea for two days now.
