I'm Asking For My 89 Year Old Father. His Stomach

I'm asking for my 89 year old father. His stomach is bloated & says he has pain. He says his stool is black ( no blood) & says he has lower back pain. His stomach is not hard but when I push in on it he says it hurts. I have a doctors appointment for him this friday morning but am wondering if I should take him to a quick care even though he doesnt want to go.
